A message from WSO:  “Twice each year, more than a thousand Al-Anon groups share copies of Al-Anon’s public outreach magazine throughout their community.  This service project energizes groups and attracts new members.  It is Twelfth Step work in which every member, at every level of recovery, can participate.  The project theme is:  ‘there is an empty chair at your meeting–waiting for someone who hasn’t yet found the help and understanding that Al-Anon offers.’”  Every meeting has at least one empty chair.  This chair reminds us how important it is to extend the hand of Al-Anon to people in need.
