Welcome to the
Oakland County Al-Anon Family Groups

Website

We’re glad you’re here!

If your home is unhappy because someone drinks too much…we can help you.  Al-Anon Family Groups, including Alateen, offer understanding and support to families and friends of problem drinkers.  Ask yourself if, because of someone else’s drinking, you are afraid, worried, losing sleep, feel embarrassed by the drinker’s behavior, make excuses for the drinker or take on his/her responsibilities, feel angry or frustrated, or often alone.  If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” we may be of help to you.  Learn more by attending a confidential meeting in your community.

Find a meeting close to you by visiting the meeting schedule on the Michigan AFG Site.

On-line Al-Anon meetings cannot replace the human companionship and warmth provided by regular attendance at face-to-face Al-Anon meetings.  However, if you can’t make it physically to a meeting, enjoy one of our electronic meetings at your convenience.
